REalloys has signed a preliminary agreement with the U.S. Army to lease land at a defense site for up to 75 years. The plan is to build a facility to process dysprosium and terbium, which are heavy rare earth elements used in high-strength magnets for electric vehicles and defense equipment.
This is a step toward the company's goal of building a domestic supply chain to reduce reliance on foreign materials. While the agreement is not yet a final contract, securing space on a military installation suggests the government sees the project as a priority for national security.
